About the Author :

He is Al-Imam Shaykh Imad al-Deen bin Ahmad Abu Hijleh, rahimahullah. He is a learned well travelled academic who has traditional scholarly training in the Islamic sciences. His focus was on Aqida, Fiqh, Qur’anic Sciences and Hadith. He has received ijazahs or traditional authorisations to transmit religious sciences from several scholars in the Middle East and Asia such as: Habib Umar bin Hafiz, Habib Salim as-Shatiri, Habib Qasim Al-Bahur, Habib Muhammad al-Junayd, Shaykh Abdullah bin Ahmad an-Nakhibi, Shaykh Muhammad bin Abi Bakr al-Habashi, Shaykh Dr Akram AbdulWahhab al-Musili, Shaykh Saad al-Din al-Murad, Shaykh Yusuf Abd el-Rahman al-Marashli. He also received Ijaza and khilafat in the Ashrafi tariqa from Shaykh Sayyid Madani Ashrafi al-Khicchochawi, and ijaza in the shadhili tariqa from Shaykh Hazim Abu Ghazala and Shaykh Ismail al-Kurdi.

Amongst his works he wrote :

An-Najum al-Lama’a fi Thaqafit al-Muslim al-Jami’a, a 900 page book, on Aqa'id, Fiqh, Sirah and Tasawwuf.
Al-Qawl al-Attar, a book written for scholars on the issues of Zakat for Muslims living in the West,
Al-Dura Al-BahI'a fi Marifat Al Furud Al-Ayni'a. a book on the obligatory knowledge [Fard e Ayn] of Islam,
Kitab al-Arba'in fi Irshad al-Salikeen : "Chaleesh Hadith e Nabawi.

He sadly passed away in Turkey on the 13th December 2020 being the 28th Rabi al-Thani 1441 after Hijri.
