About the Author :

He is Shaykh Abu 'Abd al-Rahman 'Abd al-Aziz bin Ahmad bin al-Hamid al-Qarashi al-Chishti al-Hanafi, al-Pirharwi, rahmatullahi 'alayhi. This great scholar and hadith master was born in the city of Multan, Pakistan. He was from amongst the foremost scholars of his age; testament to this fact are his many academic works and writings in both the rational [ma'qulat] and transmitted [manqulat] sciences of Islam.
