Al-Murshid "A General Arabic to English Dictionary" : Al-Muajam al-Arabiya, compiled by Professor 'Abd al-Fattah Abu Ssaydeh. This is a voluminous lexicon with Arabic terms and copious definitions in English.

 

This Edition : This is a decent two colour print on cream matt paper. Well bound, published and typeset to a good standard by the usual middle eastern fayre for dictionaries. See images below for sample pages.



About the Compiler : Dr. Abdul-Fattah Saleh Abu-Ssaydeh is a Professor of English Language, Translation and Literature at the University of Sharjah. He has a BA in English, Jordan University (1972), and a Ph.D. in Linguistics, Leeds University, UK (1980).
