The Life of Sayyiduna Adam, alayhi salam, is the English translation of the first chapter of the contemporary classical work Tazkirat al-Ambiya "Commemoration of the Prophets" by Shaykh al-Hadith Qadi Abdul Razzaq Bhatralwi.


After Allah Almighty had created Sayyiduna Adam, peace be upon him, the Angels were astonished by seeing his appearance for the first time. The Angels had never seen any face like that of Sayyiduna Adam, peace be upon him. They would roam around it and would be amazed by its beauty. Iblis had been informed about the 'form' of Adam, peace be upon him, (Iblis had not yet been cursed). He also came to see Sayyiduna Adam, peace be upon him, and after roaming around him, he said :
