Description :

This book is a classical and most venerated book of tasawwuf (sufism). It covers classical tasawwuf, it's methodologies, beliefs and the practices of Islam as well as many other spiritual secrets.'Maktubat Shaykh Ahmed Sirhindi' has been translated in many languages. The urdu translation presented here is by Mawlana Ilmuddin Naqshbandi Mujaddidi. See image below for sample page.
 

Maktubat is the common term referred to the 'letters' of the Sufi shaykh and scholars. The Maktubat of Imam al-Rabbani; Mujaddid Alf e Thani, Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi, rahmatullahi 'alayhi, are indeed the most popular amongst the letters of the sufi shaykhs.
 

The maktubat of Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi, may Allah be pleased with him, were compiled in his lifetime. They were compiled by three different individuals and number 536 in total.

---Section [1];
Contains 313 letters, and was compiled by Khwajah Yar Muhammad Badakhshi Talqani, rahmatullah alayh, a murid (disciple) of Shaykh Ahmed Sirhindi, rahmatullahi ta'ala alayhi. The volume was named as Durr al-Ma'rifat  and was finished in 1025 AH, as the Shaykh ordered to complete it at 313 letters, 313 being a sacred number.

---Section [2];
This section was named as Noor al-Khallaq and contains 99 letters. It was compiled by Khwajah Abdul Hayy.

---Section [3];
This was compiled by Khwajah Muhammad Hashim Kashmi and contains 124 letters. The volume was named Ma'rifat al-Haqa'iq.
