Al-Sayyid al-Shar?f ?Al? b. Muhammad al-Jurj?n? [740 - 816 AH] who was born in the city of Jurj?n on the 22nd of Sha?b?n in the year 740AH. He attained his religious education from the foremost authorities of his time, namely al-?All?ma Mub?rak Sh?h and al-?All?ma Akmal al-D?n Muhammad b. Mahm?d al-B?bart?. Under the guardianship of such reputable luminaries, he became known by two epithets; “al-Sayyid al-Sanad” and “M?r Sayyid”.
 
 
 
Mufti Muhammad Shabbir Purnuri is a prolific author, translator and commentator of Dars e Nizami texts.
