About the author : Shaykh Zayn al-ʿAbidīn, Zayn al-Dīn ibn Ibrahīm ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Abī Bakr ibn Nujaym al-Misri.


Ibn Nujaym was born in Egypt (year 1520 Common Era) during the early period of Ottoman rule. Biographical references do not give detailed accounts to his early life and upbringing, his family or his father’s profession. He passed away in Cairo 1563CE. [d.970 after Hijri].
