Description :

Fath al-Mughith bisharh Alfiyyat al-Hadith is the commentary on the Alfiyyah Mustalah al-Hadith. It is a poetic smaller work written by the author himself which is simply known as Alfiyyat al-'Iraqi. The Alfiyyat was also written so as to simplify for the students of hadith an earlier work written by Imam ibn Salah which was also known as Muqadimmat Ibn al-Salah.


The Alfiyyat being a 1000 poem line in regards to Hadith terminology was explained by numerous scholars beside the author. Among them are Shaykh al Islam Zakariya al-Ansari, Imam al-Suyuti, Imam Ibn Jama'ah, Imam al-'Ayni and Imam al-Sakhawi, may Allah be pleased with them.
