Today some people openly criticise many of the actions of the Ahl al-Sunnah w'al Jama'at as Bidah (innovation). Whenever a gathering is organised on the joyous occassion of the Prophets' Birth - a fatwa of bidah is immediately issued. Even before the Essale-Thawaab of the deceased has been arranged, or where-ever Durood is recited before or after the adhaan more fatawa's of bidah are heard.


It is within this enviroment that it is deemed appropriate to present the true context and concept of bidah.   This short book explains the concept of Bidah in simple to understand language.
