Word by Word (Lafzi) urdu translation of the famous Qasidah Burdah recited and loved by Muslims all over the world.



Imam al-Busairi, may Allah be pleased with him, composed the poem in the 13th Century (C.E.) after suffering a stroke which left him partially paralised. In a dream, he recited the poem to the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who then touched the paralised part of his body and threw his cloak (Burdah) over him. On awakening, he discovered he had been miraculously cured of his paralysis.
