He  states that the compilation of this work of Asma al-Nabi came from over seventeen different works.



Bughyat al-Arib contains numerous verses praising the Beloved Prophet, ?, and how to seek a means (tawassul) through them. The author cites Ahadith as well statements of the Noble Companions about the virtues and nature of the Prophets' names.

About the Author :

His is Shaykh 'Uthman bin 'Umar b. Daud "Hiddig" who was born in 1942 in Eil-Dher in Somalia [which was considered a central seat of Islamic Learning] to a family of devoted and pious Muslims who were well versed in the sacred Islamic sciences.


After learning under the most senior scholar of his family, his grandfather Shaykh Daud and successfully completing his Hifdh [Qur'anic memorisation] at the age of 11 years. He then travelled across Somalia and learned from various scholars. His travels and studying soon procured him a vast network of students who graduated under him in the thousands and who themselves have become experts in various sciences today. The shaykh went onto author a number of works ;
