Imam Abu Bakr Ahmad al-Bayhaqi (d. 458 AH), a renowned muhaddith [hadith master] of his time, authored Hayat al-Anbiya (Life of the Prophets), arguing that Prophets remain alive in their graves, praying and worshipping. He compiled authentic narrations affirming this life is real, not just metaphorical, and confirmed that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ replies to salutations, according to the treatise discussed in. His work is widely cited by traditional Sunni scholars to prove the spiritual and physical existence of the Prophets in their graves.


Allama Muhammad Abbas Rizawi has compiled this urdu sharh Aap Zinda hain Wallah based upon Imam al-Bayhaqi's authoratative work.
