Nasihat al-Labib fi Merahi al-Habib : The Concise Counselling in Relation to the Revelations of the Beloved! Also included is differrent aspects of having visions of the Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, by Shaykh Nur al-Din as-Samhudi al-Shafi'i, rahmatullahi 'alayhi. The author is reported to have been one of the last known persons (during his time) to have entered the Prophet's, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam's, chamber in Masjid al-Nabawi.

About the Author : 

He is Shaykh Abul Hassan Nur al-Din Ali ibn Abdullah bin Ahmad al-Samhudi al-Shafi'i, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi. He was born in Samhud in Upper Egypt in 844 After Hijri / 1440-1441 common era. He lived in Madinah Munawwarah where he died in 911 AH / 1505-1506 common era. He was a prolific author and came to be an authority of the history of Madinah. His text, Wafa al-wafa, is considered the largest surviving source on the history of Madinah and he would later abridge that work to produce the smaller text, Khulasat al wafa bi-akhbar dar al-Mustafa.
