This book of 'Hadith and Hadith Sciences' is comprised of two parts.


Part One contains a selection of ahadiths from 'al-Adab al-Mufrad' (Morals and Manners for Everyday Living) of Imam al-Bukhari, radi Allahu ta'ala anhu. People have little or no knowledge of the hadith sciences (Ulum al-Hadith) and have no concept of Usul-e-Hadith.


The second Part (Two) comprises of these Ulum.


The Author : Dr Khalid Mahmood obtained his MA Eng and MA Arabic from University of Punjab and Phd from Lahore. He taught Quranic and Hadith Science almost a Decade at Dawah Academy, International Islamic University of Islamabad. He has also delivered a series of lectures on Qur'an and Hadith Science during his Official Visits to Australia, Europe and North America, in 1983, 1991 and 1992 respectively. He is presently Professor / Director Institute of Islamic Studies, University of Kashmir (Pakistan) Mirpur.


An excellent primer (beginners guide) for understanding hadith and hadith terminology.
