About the Author : 

He is al-Shaykh al-Imam Jalal al-Dīn al-Dawani, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, (1456–1527). Imam Jalal al-Din al-Dawani was a Persian philosopher, theologian, and logician known for his contributions to Islamic falsafa [philosophy] and mantiq [logic]. He served as a prominent scholar in the Safavid period, influencing various fields including ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology, while integrating elements of tasawwuf and rational thought in his works.
