Description :

Ifadaat al-Shabiri is the urdu sharh of Al-Maqamat al-Hareeri.  This is the famous classical text on the study of the Arabic literature and language, covering balaghah (rhetoric), prose, etc for students of the Dars e Nizami  Islamic scholarship syllabus.




Author of al-Maqamat al-Hareeri :

He is Ash-Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Qasim ibn 'Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Uthman al-Hariri al Basri, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi. He was born in 446 after hijri and lived for 70 years passing away in 516 hijri.

Imam al-Hariri studied hadith and the Shafi'i school in fiqh. He was considered a renowned scholar on Arabic studies. He also wrote Mulhat al-I'rab, a primer on the science of Al-I'rab.



The author of the urdu sharh 'Ifadaat e Shabbiri' is Allama wa Mawlana Muhammad Hafiz Shabir Hussain. He is a mudarris at Jamiya Nizamiyyah, Lahore.
