About the Author :

He is Ash-Shaykh Abu Muhammad al-Qasim ibn 'Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Uthman al-Hariri al Basri, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi. He was born in 446 hijri and lived for 70 years passing away in 516 hijri.


Imam al-Hariri studied hadith and the Shafi'i school in fiqh. He was considered a renowned scholar on Arabic studies. He also wrote Mulhat al-I'rab, a primer on the science of Al-I'rab.
