Description :

Salaam-e-Riza is a unique masterpiece of eulogy towards the Beloved Prophet Muhammad, May Allah bless him and grant him peace. It is considered a ''Qasidah Burdah'' of the urdu language, which has received universal acclaim in the entire Muslim world. The biggest proof of its acceptance is that its verses are on the tongues of every Muslim lover (aashiq) of the Noble Prophet, May Allah bless him and grant him peace, no matter where they live in the world.


The first [31] couplets relate to the metaphysical (Reality of Muhammad) aspect of the mystical life of the Beloved Prophet, May Allah bless him and grant him peace, which requires some research of the doctrine of Imam 'Abd 'Allah al-Tustari and Shaykh Muhiy'ud-Din Ibn al-Arabi, May Allah be pleased with them, for full appreciation. Therefore much attention has been paid to explain them through some excerpts and references.


Verses/Couplets [from 32 to 81] explain the spiritual excellence of Allah's Beloved Prophet, May Allah bless him and grant him peace, from the physical appearance from birth to his Prophethood. When Divine light radiates in the inmost being, it illuminates the entire intuitive perception, i.e. every limb reflects Beauty Absolute, which AlaHadrat, May Allah be pleased with him, explains or hints at by using similies, metaphors or metaphysical imagery.
