Al-Mu'allaqat al-Sab' ma Sharh Al-Mu'allaqat al-Sab'. Al-Mu'allaqat, is a collection of seven pre-Islamic Arabic qasidahs (odes), each considered to be its author’s best piece. Since the authors themselves are among the dozen or so most famous poets of the 6th century, the selection enjoys a unique position in Arabic literature, representing the finest of early Arabic poetry. It is studied in Islamic institutes and seminaries thoughout the globe, such is its reputation. 
 

This Edition : 

Published in 2022 by the ever improving Dar al-Malik Foundation of Bareilly, India. This is a good quality edition in terms of print quality by usual sub continental standards. Contains harakat for those that rely on them. The final finish is off-mint ; there are marks, surface scratches, staining, indentation, creasing. etc, otherwise fine. 

About the Author : 

He is Allamah Shaykh Abd al-Rahim ibn Abd al-Karim al-Safi Furi, al-Hindi, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi [d.1267h]. Unfortunately little is known about the author and his life.
