Description :
The Nineteenth Century saw the final abandonment of inhibitions against usury, and thus the evolution of usury banking onto its path towards political power. It marked the rise of the financial houses and instruments which led to the fall of the Caliphate. In this book, Shaykh Abdalqadir as-Sufi discloses the link between the technical project, the driver of the Tanzimat - railways in particular - and interest-debt mechanisms and institutions which made the two phenomena seem one; a tantalising Trojan horse. " No technology is without banker's licence."
This important text with elucidation by Asrar Rashid on how the Osmanli Caliphate was destroyed is essential reading for those seeking to understand the prevailing conditions and the present, intentional break up of Europe.
"This book is unique as the author gets to the jugular vein of the problem facing the Umma today, summarising matters in a way that removes the task of reading through voluminous source books and references to reach the same conclusion." ---Asrar Rashid.
Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi entered Islam with the Imam of the Qarawiyyin Mosque in Fez, Morocco, and studied under Shaykh Muhammad ibn al-Habib of Meknes and Shaykh Muhammad al-Fayturi of Benghazi.
Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi has been responsible for the most far-reaching and successful Islamic Da’wa of the 20th century. He has founded mosques in England, Spain and South Africa. His writings encompass well over 20 books and many essays and articles, and he has initiated the translation and publication of numerous classical works of Islam, most notably the Muwatta of Imam Malik and Ash-Shifa of Qadi ‘Iyad, may Allah be pleased with them.
His students, many of whom are world-renowned and respected in their own fields, have been responsible among other things for definitive translations of the Qur’an into English and Spanish.
Shaykh Asrar Rashid is a writer, public lecturer, debater and teacher of Arabic and Islamic disciplines. He has undertaken studies under traditional Islamic teachers in Arabic and Islam, Ash'ari Kalam, traditional rational theology, and its ancillary subjects in his city of birth, Birmingham (UK) and in Damascus (Syria).
