Blessings of Durud and Salam : Sending Durud and Salam (Peace & Salutations) upon the Prophet, ﷺ, is an exalted and unique act which Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, and His Angels also carry out. This act grants a person closeness to Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala. It is also the means for forgiveness of sins, for one's status being elevated and protection from regret and grief on the Day of Judgement.


It is enough to realise the excellence of Durud and Salam that when one recites it, Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, and His Angels send Blessings on that person.

------Being Doomed.

------After the Adhan,

------At the Time of any Need,
------On the Day of Jumu'ah,

------After Awakening from Sleep,

------When the Prophet, ﷺ, is Mentioned,

------When Entering and Leaving the Mosque,
------Between Safa and Marwa,

------When Ears are Ringing,

------After Performing Ablution,

------When Visiting the the Blessed Rawdah,

------When Passing or Seeing a Mosque,

------Morning and Evening,

------When Supplicating,

------When Writing the Blessed Name,

------Before Sleeping,

------Before Beginning all Lawful Work,
------In Every Gathering.
