Al-Fatawa al-Hindiyyah also known as Fatawa Alamgeeri (Alamgiri) is a huge collection of Islamic rulings (fatawa) issued and compiled by a large group of Hanafi scholars from India.  This scholarly work was in response to a request by the Muslim king of India and a Islamic scholar in his own standing, Muhammad Aurangzeb.

About the Author :

AlaHadrat, alayhi ar-Rahman, was a prolific writer whose legal edicts (Al-Fatawa Ridawiyya) were gathered into numerous encyclopedic volumes and covered almost every science of his day.  He is known to have authored in excess of 1000 books.
