Riyad as-Salihin Childrens/Students Workbook - This workbook is based on selected ahadith from Riyad As-Salihin Min Kalami Sayyid al-Mursalin (Gardens of the Righteous from the Sayings of The Chief of Messengers).


Imam Muhyi ad-Din Abu Zakariyya Yahya ibn Sharaf An-Nawawi finished compiling Riyad as-Salihin in the year 670 AH (1272 CE). Since then it has gained widespread acceptance in the Ummah and is taught wherever the Muslim community has settled across the globe reaching a somewhat legendary status amongst hadith collections.


This rendition has been prepared for students featuring selected ahadith, together with explanatory notes and beneficial comments as well as relevant and engaging activities to further enhance learning and understanding.


Part One contains 24 ahadith covering 12 chapters [with commentary] and features a foreword written by Fadhilat Al-Shaykh Muhammad Habib-ur-Rahman Al-Mahboobi. See images below for sample pages.





The Author of Riyad as-Saliheen :

Imam an Nawawi, alayhi ar-Rahman w'al-Ridwan, [631–676 _A.H. /1234–1277_C.E.].


'Shaykh al-Islam' al-Imam Muhyiddin Yahya ibn Sharaf al-Nawawi  is one of the great Sufi scholars, strictest latter-time hadith masters, and most meticulous of jurists, and is with al-Rafi`i as the principal reference of the Shafi`i school.


His books remain authoritative in the methodology of the law, in Qur'an commentary, and in hadith. His commentary of Sahih Muslim is second only to Ibn Hajar's commentary of Sahih Bukhari. Allah Almighty gave his famous compilation of Forty Hadiths more circulation and fame than possibly any other book of hadith, large or small, and has allowed an-Nawawi to be of immense benefit to the Community of Islam.
