Description :

Burhan al-Thabut fi Tabri'at Harut wa Marut - This work relates the infamous incident narrated by some scholars of Tafsir in regards to the two Angels (Harut and Marut) whom after seeing the mischievious ways of the humans' asked Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, why human beings were created because Allah Almighty had created the Angels who were obedient in all ways and never erred. To which Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, replied to nominate two Angels for the task of living among the human's as they were.

This fabricated story that has been reproduced from Isra'ili scripts - have been the source of debates amongst the scholars. This is why the author wrote this through work. This has been explained in the Introduction by the Mufti of Lebanon; Shaykh Dr. Muhammad Rashid Raghib al-Qabbani.
