Description :

This book is the first English translation of the popular book Sahaba e Kiram ka Ishq e Rasool.

The foundation of faith and the essence of belief is the love of Al-Mustafa (the Chosen One) salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, upon him are Salutations and Praise. The true love and devotion was that which the Beloved Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, witnessed and maintained. Every Noble Companion's heart was filled with utmost love for the Messenger, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.

The children, the youth, the elderly, the males and the females were all alike in this regard. This was the reason for children leaping onto the battlefield in order to destroy the deviant plans of the Prophet's enemies. The young Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, tolerated hunger and breathed their last breath struggling in this path of devotion. It was the effect of this love that the women who received news of the martydom of her father, brother, son and husband stated that all the calamities were meaningless so long as the Beloved of Allah, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, was in good health.

This love of Al-Mustafa, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, brought about the situation in which the ones who disrespected the Messenger were viewed with the same detestation regardless of their blood relation to the Noble Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. On the battlefield, a father would annihilate his son due to giving preference to the love of the Messenger, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam, over all other relations. Spouses would not give preference to their life partners over the Beloved, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. These are all examples of how the Honoured Companions would sacrifice their entire lives for the Beloved, salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam.

Sayyiduna 'Ammaar, Khubaib, Suhayb, Bilal, Salman, Abu Zarr as well as Sayyidah Sumayyah and Umm 'Ammarah, may Allah be pleased with them all, all proclaimed that tranquility could only be attained through the hardships they faced in the path of Prophetic love.
