Book Description:
The mystical sufis used to educate and indoctrinate the masses through sermons, and admonitory discourses in addition to writings. Ghawth al-A'zam; Shaykh Sayyad Abd al-Qadir Jilani,
may Allah be pleased with him, spent 33 years of his life, trying to educate and create spiritual awareness.
His discourses (
Malfoozat) were beneficial equally for the mankind and unseen creatures for their inner purification and spiritual elevation.
Author's Introduction:
"After going through all the literary works by Ghaus-e-Azam himself and then the works on his life and teachings, I managed to arrange the '
Mystical Discourses' under 101 attractive topics to ease consultation and imbibe the teachings of the Sultan of the Saints. However in order to support, explain, and elaborate certain intricate and difficult topics, some quotations by other great mystics of Islam, with reference to their names, have been added which where found to be essential.
This work may not be considered as a complete and comprehensive study of the teachings of the great Shaykh, rather it is just a glimpse of the fathomless sea of Divine Knowledge (gnosis) that had been revealed to the Shaykh esoterically by Divine grace; so that he could fulfill cosmic mission entrusted by the Beloved Prophet Muhammad,
May Allah bless him and grant him peace."
