About the Author :

Mrs Zarina Khand has been teaching Urdu for the last 25 years. In addition to basic teaching qulaifications she has gained training in the teaching of ESL (English as a second language), EFL (English as a foreign language) and was granted a PGCE (postgraduate certificate of education) from the University of Strathclyde in 1992. She is an examiner for Edexcel and SQA (Scottish Qulaification Authority). She is an author of a rangeof educational material. Other key works include ; Basic Urdu and A Textbook for urdu higher and GCE (AS &AL ) level.
