About the Author :

He is Hadrat Allama wa Mawlana Mufti ale Mustafa al-Ridawi al-Misbahi, rahimahullah. He was a distinguished scholar, speaker, teacher, and debator and author. He was particularly known for his research and study of Islamic jurisprudence, namely Fiqah wa Ifta, Usul al-Din and Shari'ah, and because of this due dilligence he was referred to as the Faqih e Ahl al-Sunnat, Muhaqqiq e Asr, Faqih al-Asr.


He was from one of the earliest graduates of Jamia t'ul Ashrafiya, Mubarakpur. He held a number of posts including ustad at Jamiya Amjadiya Rizawiyya, Ghosi, India. In tariqah, he was bayt to Sarkar al-Kalan; Shaykh Sayyid Mukhtar Ashraf al-Ashrafi, rahmatullahi 'alayhi, and also received khilafat and ijazat from Shaykh al-Islam Sayyid Muhammad Madani al-Ashrafi.


Besides authoring a number of books, he also wrote a plethora of hashiya/commentaries, muqaddimah, Arabic to urdu tarjuma, etc, of various texts. Asides from literature, he regularly challenged the misguided sects, and partook in many manazara's beholding the teachings of the Ahl us Sunnah w'al-Jama'ah.


Sadly Mufti Ale Mustafa sahib passed away after a prolonged illness on the 10th January 2022.
