About the Author :

He is Hadrat Allama wa Mawlana Mufti Inayat Ahmad Kakurvi (Kakorvi), rahimahullah. He was born in Dewa, U.P India in 1228 After Hijri. He settled down with his father in Kakor, near Lucknow, also U.P.  Mufti Inayat travelled widely to study amongst the leading scholars from his time. He sought knowledge at Rampur, Delhi and Aligarh and Bareilly Shareef. He was also Influential for the freedom of India against the colonial invaders along wiith Allama Fazl Haq Khayrabadi, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, and other mujahideen, for which he was imprisoned for his role.

He also established Madrasa Faiz e Alam, Kanpur, India where he taught many students, who in turn became teachers themselves. Sadly Mufti Inyat Ahmad became shaheed [martyred] when the ship he was travelling on capsized on the way to perform Hajj in 1279h.
