About the Author :

He is Hadrat Allama wa Mawlana Usaid al-Haq Muhammad Asim al-Qadiri al-Badayuni as-Shaheed, rahimahullah. Badaun, in Northern India was a prominent learning centre of the sacred sciences in it's heyday producing numerous scholars who propagated the true teachings of the Ahl al-Sunnah w'al-Jama'ah. Mawlana Usaid al-Haq al-Qadiri was such a scholar. He was a proficient speaker, a teacher and a writer and very pious.


Sadly Mawlana Usaid al-Haq lost his life much too early when he was gunned down by terrorists, on the outskirts of Baghdad in 2014. He had been with a group which included his father and brother, all scholars and mureeds, who were on a spiritual tour of visiting the blessed mausoleums of Iraq, which included their grandshaykh, Ghawth al-A'zam; Sayyid Abd al-Qadir al-Jeylani, radi Allahu ta'ala anhu. Mawlana Usaid al-Haq is laid to rest in the cemetery adjacent to the shrine of Sayyidina Ghawth al-A'zam, radi Allahu ta'ala anhu.
