The literature of Prophetic medicine thus occupies a symbolic role in the elucidation of Islamic identity as constituted by a particular set of relationships to science, medicine, technology and nature.


Imam Shafi'i, may Allah be pleased with him, said that by ignoring the medicine of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, we lost one third of the knowledge of Islam, & when the WEST was conscious to work hard on their laboratorial medicine, its results are seen globally today, but sadly you will struggle to find a single clinic anywhere that runs under the banner of Tibb-e-Nabawi.
