Izaah e Haqeeqat tarjuma Sharh Haqiqat al-Muhammadiyya ; Tasawwuf ki aik mashhuur kitab. This book is the urdu translation of a famous farsi text Haqiqat e Muhamamdiyya by the revered sufi scholar and saint Shah Wajih ud-Din Ahmad 'Alawi al-Gujarati, alayhi ra-Rahman.





Shaykh Wajih al-Din 'Alawi :

He is Al-Shaykh al-Imam Sayyad Muhammad Wajih al-Din al-Gujarati. He was born in the 15th century Common Era in the city of Champaner, in Gujarat, India. His descendents hailed from Hadramount, Yemen.


Upon moving to the large city of Ahmedbad, the capital of Gujarat, Shah Wajih al-Din studied the sacred Islamic sciences under various scholars of the time. He was known to be extremely humble and thirsty for knowledge. After completing his studies, he went onto teach many of the sciences. Shah Wajih al-Din specialised in the Qur'an Tafsir, Shar'ah/Fiqh, Mathematics, Mantiq. It is also believed Shaykh Wajih al-Din had authored in excess of 50 books.


Shah Wajih al-Din was initiated into the Qadiri and Shattari Sufi tariqahs. He passed away in 998 Hijri and his mausoleum is in the Kanpur district of Ahmedabad, India.
