About the Imam :
Al-Shaykh al-Imam Ahmad Rida Khan al-Qadiri (b. 1272 AH/1856 CE), alayhi ar-Rahman w'al-Ridwan, was a renowned Hanafi jurist, hadith expert (muhaddith) and theologian par excellence, recognised by scholars from the Islamic world to be a reviver (mujaddid) of his era.
AlaHadrat, alayhi ar-Rahman, was a prolific writer whose legal edicts (Al-Fatawa Ridawiyya) were gathered into numerous encyclopedic volumes and covered almost every science of his day. He is known to have authored in excess of 1000 books.

About the Author :
He is Allama Mufti Shaykh Faizan ul Mustafa Qadiri al-Ridawi, - he is currently a teacher of Islamic Studies, in Houston, USA. Shaykh Faizan adheres to his family tradition of expertise in Islamic Jurisprudence (fiqh). He is a well accomplished and a highly qualified individual. Along with being an Aalim, he is a Mufti and Shaykh ul Hadith having graduated from Jamiya Ashrafiyya.
Shaykh Faizan ul Mustafa was born in Ghosi, UP, India. He is the son of Allama wa Mawlana Shaykh Fida ul Mustafa, who is the son of Sadr ush-Sharia Mufti Amjad Ali A'zami, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi. He graduated from Jamiya Shams ul Ulum in Ghosi in 1991. He went onto study for a further 6 years at Jamia Ashrafiyya, Mubarakpur where he successfully gained takhassus (specialisation) in Hadith and Fiqh. He also went to study at Jamiya Nizamuddin Auliya in Delhi for a year.
Shaykh Faizan then commenced teaching at Jamia Amjadiyya, where he taught for 7 years. After migrating to the USA in 2003, hes served as Imam in Mosques at Dallas and at Katy. In 2008, he went back to India to serve as the Shaykh al-Hadith in Jamiya Amjadiyya. To indoctrinate the Houston Muslim community in the traditional Islamic Sciences, Shaykh Faizan established Al-Noor Islamic College in 2012, and has served as the Dean at the College ever since.
Shaykh Faizan is also an Executive Member of the Shara'i Council of India (Bareilly, UP). Furthermore, he has successfully conducted two Islamic Diploma courses in Houston. Additionally, he has authored many books and articles dealing with Islamic legal issues.
