Ka anna ka bid Dunya Lamtaqun wa bil Akhirat Lamtazr : This concise work is a reserach on the book title Ka anna ka bid Dunya Lamtaqun wa bil Akhirat Lamtazr - by the author, the famous grammarian Imam Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi. The title is a quotation regarding the 'Dunya and Akhirat' by the sufi scholar Shaykh Hasan al-Basri, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi.

This publication : This is a decent Egyptian print on cream coloured paper with a glossy cover. Their is a reasonable amount of harakat (diacritical marks) in the text. with two colour ink printed on white paper. Edited by Ustad Doctur Muhammad Husayn al-Mehrsani. Contains footnotes and references.

About the Author :

He is Allamah, al-Shaykh Abu Muhammad 'Abd Allah Jamal al-Din bin Ahmad bin 'Abd Allah bin Hisham al-Ansari. He was born in Egypt in the month of Dhul Quddah 708 Hijri, which is 1309 Common Era. He quickly became a lover of knowledge from a young age and would sit with scholars and within the circles of study.

Shaykh al-Islam Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, mentions him in his book al-Durar al-Kamina that he took knowledge from all the great scholars of his time such as Taj al-Tabrizi, Taj al-Fakahani, Shuhab ibn al-Marhal and Ibn Jama'ah. His students didn't become well known but however it was testified that a lot of scholars from Egypt took from him.

It is believed he wrote in excess of 28 titles or works in regards to Nahw, Sarf and Lughah, with the majority being in the science of Arabic Grammar.
