Jami as Thana-i 'Alal lahI min al-Ahadith an-Nabawiyyah wa Kalam al-Aimmah al-Sufiyyah, is a new compilation from the works of Imam Abu'l Muhasin Shaykh Yusuf bin Ismail an-Nabahani, alayhi ar-Rahman, [d.1350h].
Shaykh Yusuf al-Nabhani extols the virtues and importance of beginning every prayer with the mention of Allah the Almighty, known as the Thana ('Sana') which has been related from Ahadith of the Beloved Prophet, salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam, and from the Salaf (pious predeccessors) and Sufiyya al-Kiram.

Imam Yusuf b. Isma‘il al-Nabahani (1265–1350 AH), hadith scholar, Sufi, jurist, judge, and biographer, was born in Beirut, Lebanon. A prolific author, al-Nabahani left behind a staggering collection of works in hadith, fiqh, theology, and most famously, poetry and prose in praise of our Master Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Imam al-Nabahani, may Allah have mercy upon him, was a paragon of Prophetic love (‘ishq) and his works continue to exercise a profound influence on popular Muslim spirituality.
