Description :

This is the story of Hadrat Sahib (1921-2008), a spiritual guide who single-handedly changed the landscape of the country of his birth. The numerous mosques he built are a lasting testament to his vision and architectural genius.

Although his followers and students are spread across the globe, Hadrat Sahib remains an enigma. He lived a discreet existence and avoided any efforts to publicise his name or work during his lifetime. His life is like a set of precious pearls, and this book attempts to string those pearls into a necklace by providing an introductory yet detailed account of his life.

This account serves as an ideal first acquaintance with the muted yet miraculous story of Kashmir's noble spiritual guide. While he preferred to live a humble reclusive life, Hadrat Sahib incredibly fostered relationships solely based on the love for God - a theme rooted in his noble ancestors, parents, companions (sangis) and indeed throughout this book. Without embellishment, Dr Muzamil Khan guides the reader through Hadrat Sahib's life, whilst shedding light on the variety of Sangis who individually to some capacity encapsulate their noble master's legacy.

What you find in the book, therefore perhaps reflects your inner state.
