This popular book is a series of lectures recorded during gatherings with Shaykh Nazim in Basel, Switzerland in the summer of 1985. The compilers felt the need the transcribe the talks 'word for word' as there was an exceptional inspiration and intensity in what he said. This way the many various dimensions of his heavenly messages are kept alive.
Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani of Turkish Cyprus, was born in Lanarca on April 23, 1922 (being 12th of Rabi al-Awwal 1341AH). He is a Sayyid (descendent of the family of Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace), the world leader of the most distinguished Naqshbandi order of Sufis. Shaykh Nazim is both a scholar of the Divine Law, mufti of Turkish Cyprus, as well as a Shaykh of the Way (tariqah). Shaykh Nazim passed away after a prolonged illness on May 7th, 2014 (being 8th of Rajab 1435 AH) and is laid to rest at his Sufi lodge in Lefke, Cyprus.
