He started to love the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, more than his own life. During his reign as a Caliph, he made a praiseworthy difference to the lives of the people, hence being called al-Farooq, the 'one who makes a difference.'


This book is a brief biographical sketch of the second Khalifah, Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him.
