''This book is what you need when people who seem to know more than you, start asking you questions that you can't answer about certain aspects of aqidah and other subjects, and you find that in speaking with such people you 'wind-up' talking more about Ibn Taymiyyah and his followers than about Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, and His Prophet, Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam. You find that their questions are accompanied by the heavy and frequent use of such phrases as ''bid'a'', ''makruh'' ''da'if'', ''haram,'' etc , and your questioners are insistent that you must accept what they mistakenly call: ''al-Manhaj as-Salaf'' lest you find yourself (according to them) outside of Islam and consigned (by them) to the Fire.
