Jawahar e Azizi urdu tarjuma Tafsir Azizi, presented here in 4 separate books (Volumes) was originally written in farsi (Persian) by the revered and hugely respected Shah Abd al-Aziz Muhaddith ad-Dehlawi, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, [d.1823 Common Era]. 


This work was initiated by his father Shah Wali-Ullah Muhaddith al-Dehlawi, alayhi ar-Rahman w'al-Ridwan, but he passed away so it was left to Shah Abd al-Aziz to complete the task.

Shaykh Abd 'al-Aziz Muhaddith al-Dehlawi, may Allah be pleased with him, was the eldest son of the arguably one of the greatest scholars from the Indian Sub-Continent, the Reviver and Reformer, Shah Wali-Ullah Muhaddith al-Dehlawi, may Allah sanctify his secret. Shah Abd al Aziz wrote in excess of 100 books, but sadly not many of these are known to have survived. Shah Abd al Aziz passed away in 1239H and was laid to rest in Delhi.
