He is author of the first Qur’anic exegesis to be written in the UK, the 5-volume Tafsir Imdad al-Karam. His written works are known for their simplicity in approach and his books are taught as part of various curriculums in mosques and education centres.


Shaykh Pirzada is the founder and principal of the educational institution of Jamia Al-Karam, based in Retford, UK, where he has taught and trained young British Imam's and scholars for the past three decades. He is founder of Muslim Charity – 'Helping the Needy' as well as president of the UK Branch of the World Association for Al-Azhar Graduates.
