'Al-Bashir al Kamil' contains the urdu sharh of the classical text sharh Miata Amil by the renowned scholar Sadr al-Ulema,  Allama Sayyad Ghulam Jilani Meruthi, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, who earned the honorific title 'Imam an-Nahw' from his contemporaries such was his expertise on this topic.




About the Author : Sadr al Ulama, [or Imam an Nahv as he was also called], Allama Ghulam Jilani al Mertathi 'alayhir ar rahman, was amongst the eminent and most learned scholars of his time. He was a prolific author, astute lecturer, a master of arabic as well as being proficient in many sciences. 


He was born on the 11th of Ramadan 1317 A.H in Aligarh. He was the son of Mawlana Sayyad Ghulam Fakr al-Din Shah, who was the son of Allama Sayyad Sakhawat Hussain Fakhri Sulaymani, Radi Allahu ta'ala anhum. Sadr al-Ulema was a student of 'Sadr al-Afaazil' Sayyad Naim al-Din Muradabadi al-Ashrafi, and of 'Sadrus Shari'ah', Allama Amjad Ali Aazmi, Allah be pleased with them.  His graduation ceremony (dastar-e-fazilat) was performed by 'Hujjatul Islam' al-Shaykh al-Imam Hamid Raza Khan, Allah be pleased with him, who was also another one of his teachers. Sadr al-Ulema was bayah (disciple) of AlaHadrat 'Ashrafi miya' Sayyad Shah Ali Hussain, Rahmatullahi 'alayhi.
