Forty Divine Narrations - A Collection of Forty Hadith Qudsi, is the translation of a renowned text of Imam al-Qadi Yusuf al-Nabahani, may Allah be pleased with him, the shafi'i jurist and Levantine gnostic. In it, he has compiled forty integral ahadith (Prophetic narrations), on topics ranging from the core monotheistic belief of Islam to remedies of one's affairs in accordance to the shari'ah. Also included are the wonderful reminders of the nature of an aspirational Muslim.
Each of the narrations is termed as hadith al-Qudsi (Divine narrations) - a term used in the science of hadith to describe those Divine statements aside from those contained in Revelation, which are manifested on the tongue of His Prophet, ﷺ.
This is the first work of an ongoing series of collections of "Forty Narrations" compiled by Imam al-Nabhani, alayhi ar-Rahman. Contains the Arabic text with corresponding English translation.
