Fatawa Radawiyya : A Monumental Encyclopedia of Islamic Knowledge :
Delve into " Al-Ataya al-Nabawiyyah and al-Fatawa al-Radawiyyah " - ( Prophetic Gifts in the Religious Edicts of Rida ), a comprehensive encyclopedia of Islamic knowledge authored by the renowned Imam of Ahl al-Sunnah Shaykh Imam Ahmad Rida al-Qadiri, ( 1856/1921 Common Era) of Bareilly, India.
This extraordinary collection, spanning 33 volumes (streamlined to 22 larger volumes) and approximately 22,000 pages, represents the culmination of 54 years of scholarly work, addressing over 6,800 of the most pertinent questions facing the Muslim Ummah in the 19th century.
Praised by Luminaries Such As ....
... the renowned poet and philosopher Allama Iqbal, rahimahullah, who likened Imam Ahmad Rida to "the Abu Hanifa of his era." ---[Maqalat al-Youm al-Rida, 3:10].
In 1325/1907, Imam Ahmad Rida al-Qadiri, alayhi ar-Rahman, sent some Fatawa (Arabic) to Hafidh 'al-Kutub al-Haram' Sayyid Isma'il Khalil, rahimahullah, who after reading these Fatawa wrote :
" I swear and say the truth that if Imam Abu Hanifa Nu'man, radi Allahu ta'ala anhu, were to see these Fatawa he would have felt happy and would have the writer as his disciple. But I say if it were said about him that he was the Mujaddid (Reviver) of this Century it would be true and correct. For Allah Almighty it is not difficult to accumalate the entire universe into one person. "
Imam Qadi Yusuf b. Isma'il al-Nabhani, rahimahullah, whilst writing an acclamation of Ad-Dawla al-Makkiya bil Madda'dat al-Ghaybiyya states : " The proofs established by the author were exceptionally strong which can only emanate from a senior Imam and a prolific scholar of the religion. "
Shaykh Sayyid Hussain b. Allama Abd al-Qadir Tarablusi, rahimahullah, states, " The protector of Ummat al-Muhammadiyyah az-Zahra and the Mujaddid of this century. "
