Durood e Lakhi

Durood e Lakhi is a powerful Salawat (Durood shareef) with untold Barakah (blessing) when recited with the right intention at regular intervals.


This Durood shareef was recited by Sultan Mahmood Ghaznawi, rahmatullahi ta'ala 'alayhi, as a wazeefa over 100,000 times on a daily basis. One day the Beloved Messenger of Allah, salla Allahu 'alayhi wa Sallam, came to Sultan Mahmood in a dream, and informed him that if we was the recite this Darood Sharif once after Salaat al-Fajr, he will receive the thawaab (reward) of having recited it one lakh (100,000) times and that with the barakah of this Darood he will also have immense love for the Beloved Messenger of Allah.
