Description from the publisher:

In this translation of a part of Imam Ghazali's, May Allah be pleased with him, epic works; Ihya ulum al-din (Revival of the Religious Sciences) he writes about the purpose of the recitation of the Noble Qur'an, the external and internal rules of recitation, why it may not be correctly understood and interpretation according to one's own opinion.

Imam al-Ghazali, May Allah be pleased with him, explains the tradition so clearly in this work that the argument is over for anyone to whom the Noble Qur'an asks:

'' Will you not then be reasonable? ''

Imam al-Ghazali, may Allah be pleased with him, asks : Was this Tradition to discourage independent understanding or to be something other than these? He says: '' It is clearly wrong to suppose that the intent and purpose was to limit our understanding of the Qur'an to only that which was heard and received from an authority. This is wrong for at least four reasons.'' You will be very surprised by the four reasons he gives.
