Description :

This 3 Volume book is concerned with 'Ilm al-Usul specifically the Qawa'id of it. Qawa'id or Qa'idhah are idioms and phrases in 'Usul al-Fiqh - the science of the Principles of Jurisprudence. This book is an explanation of Al-Minhaj by Imam al-Baydhawi, alayhi ar-Rahman, [d.685 H]. He wrote this very extensive and most used Qawa'id about identifying why certain rulings have certain phrases within them.

This sharh (explanation) is by the most firm of teachers and experts in the science of Usul of the 7th century Hijri, the father and son also known as Taqi al-Din and Taj al-Din al-Subki, may Allah have mercy upon them both. The text is a reference of the later scholars in this science and thus are heavily used when expounding errors found in Usul.
